Was great to finally see a heavy band at Yours & Owls Festival on one of the two main stages!! Polaris were heavy, loud and fun. I thought the lighting sucked tho!
Psychedelic Porn Crumpets @ Yours & Owls Festival, September ’18
I think I had remembered the name Psychedelic Porn Crumpets from back in my youth, but I had never seen them play? I made sure to catch their set at Your & Owls this year and they were great! So much fun.
Primus @ The Enmore, April ’18
This show from Primus was tedious to hear and even worse to photograph. Couldn’t see the band either. Such a terrible stage setup, heavily backlit. Long, drawn out jams that extended into songs with zero interaction between the band members had me yawning. And this is from a fan of the band!
Peter Hook & The Light @ The Metro, October ’17
We all know who Peter Hook is and his contribution to music as a whole, however Pete Hook & The Light were dull to photograph. Sure, they sounded great and it was a pleasure to see them, but photographically, this was tedious.
