Not sure what the heck I saw with Alice Ivy. The music was horrible and their stage show was terrible. Ironically the lighting was perfect, so as a photographer I quite enjoyed it.

Surprise addition and drawcard to Yours & Owls Festival, At The Drive-In totally blew that main stage away! I got the feeling a lot of people didn’t know who they were, but I was aware of the jump shot opportunities and spent most of my time outside of the pit for these shots.

AJJ was beautifully lit and beautiful to photograph, but I found their set quite tedious and boring. I understand they are well loved, but I got nothing from their set.

There was plenty of rock at this show from Airbourne. I knew the beer can thing was coming so got just to the side of it and fired off a few frames before my lens was covered in VB.
Arteries @ The Metro, December ’16
Arteries really suffered from The Metro’s sound guy not patching the vocals correctly. For the first song no one but on stage could hear any vocal. Then it took close to 10 minutes to fix it. By the time they were ready to play their time was up. Looked good tho!

Pretty difficult to shoot Antwon as there was no real lighting and he had a baseball cap on. Also a disappointing set from all reports I heard.

While on tour in Europe with Tracer opening for Apocalyptica I shot the band twice, this one was the last show of the run. These guys are a great bunch of dudes with a seriously rad show! If you get the chance to check them out you damn well should!!
