Violent Femmes @ Waves, March ’17

For fans of this band their set was a brilliantly plotted mix from their entire catalogue at Waves recently.

The Violent Femmes definitely have a wealth of tunes to choose from but for my money it was rad to hear Never Tell, Life Is An Adventure, Jesus Walking On The Water and Country Death Song.

I could have done without a 10 minute version of Black Girls and also the collab with opening act Rayella took up set time that could have gone towards, say Hallowed Ground for example, but other than that this 2 hour set was bang on!
