This was quite possibly the gig of the year for me in terms of music and performance.
The Mars Volta played mostly new numbers tonight, giving the “open minded” Adelaide crowd something to really appreciate.
Lighting was decent, but made more difficult as the constant movement up on stage made it hard to frame a shot. We were given 9 minutes to shoot (?) and it was enough in all honestly. I wanted to watch more than shoot!
