Pendulum @ HQ, October ’10

Earlier tonight I’d shot Pendulum at the Ent Centre where they played to a sold out crowd (check that set here).

The afterparty at HQ also sold out quick smart when a Pendulum DJ set was announced.

I shot these with on camera flash as I knew the action on stage would be way too fast to capture without some of my own lighting to freeze the subject.

If you shoot at HQ take a look up at the lighting rig. It’s hard to believe ALL those lights and not one spottie for the stage? I think most of the lights on that rig are for the dance floor only.
