Paul Kelly @ Space Theatre, April ’11

Playing a series of 4 shows over 4 nights, Paul Kelly played tracks from songs beginning with every letter of the alphabet for this tour.

I shot the second night as I wanted to hear How To Make Gravy live and I figured he would do A-E the first night and at least F-J the second.

He did.

Great lighting, although the Space Theatre has no stage and it’s all tiered seating in a “V” shape down to the performance area, so I was essentially “on stage” with Paul.

After the first song he jokingly directs into the microphone at me:

“Are you going to be here all night?“

I politely replied:

“No Mr Kelly, only for another song“

“Good“

Haha! I love Paul Kelly!
