John Butler Trio @ The Thebby, January ’10

Not too take anything away from John Butler at all, as his performance tonight was brilliant, but hot damn Nicky Bomba on drums is amazing to watch! I wanted to shoot more of Nicky than of John!

This was the first show with new band, new tour, new stage show and new lighting – and the results were brilliant! It was a real treat to shoot a show like this, where the lights were absolutely spot on, brilliant colour combinations of spots behind the band and enough front lighting making my job just that much easier.
