Dexter Jones @ Arcade Lane, March ’13
Arcade Lane pops up around Mad March in Adelaide, here’s a set I shot of Dexter Jones.
I shot with flash.
If I didn’t have a DSLR I would have happily shot with an iPad or iPhone because I don’t distinguish between what you use to get the shot. No photographer should.
The festivals and venues that state: “no iPad shooters in the pit” have got it ALL wrong. So completely wrong!
DSLR’s are dying folks – it matters not what “body” you shoot with, it only matters what sensor is recording the image (and the glass it’s coming through). As soon as iPads have a better sensor and a wider selection of lenses than a DSLR I am switching and the rest of the photography community (those who heckle) can be left behind. See ya later dinosaurs!
