Surprise band for me at Soundwave this year, Alter Bridge had everything I like in a show: a compelling, happy frontman, a no-nonsense bass player who looked to be really enjoying getting seriously heavy sounds from his rig, a guitarist who laid it down loud and fast and also looked to be enjoying it and unfortunately I couldn’t really see their drummer.
Great set, great sound and definitely a band I want to check more of.
